the JWT/eBAY ecu also includes "long story". Turns out the chip was a fake, but JWT was kind enough to help me out. I sent the ECU to them and they got everything corrected for a fair price. Anyway, the ECU has never been the issue. I guess I could try throwing my old STOCK ECU back in to see how it performs - simple enough and a good idea. I've already got boost back to stock, so it shouldn't hurt to try that. As for the timing belt...if it decided to slip a tooth it would've been after 10K. I had the 60K done right around when I bought it at 68K. I may be tricking myself when saying the change happened slowly -- I guess from the 6500 problem got down to the 4500 area rather quickly. -Dave
